Famed for its dramatic desert setting and nail-biting matches, the Mifel Tennis Open in Los Cabos is well-regarded on the ATP Tour, attracting both top players and enthusiastic fans. The recent 8th edition was no different, and Del Cabo Events came through once more to produce some of the most spectacular events of the tournament.
The elegant touch of Del Cabo Events delivers another tournament to remember
The Tennis Talks:
Held prior to the start of the matches, this event is always a fan favorite due to the close proximity of the players to the audience. Knowing this, Del Cabo Events worked successfully to create a relaxed lounge environment at the venue that was both logistically effective but also let the crowd feel like they were just shooting the breeze with some of the sport’s biggest names. Among the highlights, Diego Schwartzman spoke about the beginning of his career, doubles players Hans Hach and Miguel Ángel Reyes-Varela chatted about what’s new in the Mexican tennis scene, and Casper Rudd shared how his father was his biggest inspiration.
The White Party:
This classic players party took place among the iconic desert minimalism of Toro Latin Kitchen at the beautiful Punta Ballena resort. Taking on this event, the designers at Del Cabo Events knew from the start the vibe they wanted to achieve: fresh and sophisticated. To that end, all guests were asked to wear white, pairing them perfectly with the simple, yet elegant all-white design elements that adorned the venue. This was a particularly special event given that a select group of fans were invited to join the fun and rub shoulders with some of their favorite players.
Closing Party:
After the last match came to an end and this year’s winners were crowned, it was time for the “other” main event: the exclusive closing night party at the Cabo Sports Complex. Del Cabo Events pulled out all the stops for this one, employing the finest in lighting, decor, and music to transform an unassuming food court into a world class venue. The final product was fun and festive, an environment where familiar delicacies from all around the world were served, and the players were able to relax and enjoy a final night with their peers.
In a relatively short amount of time, The Mifel Tennis Open has proven itself to become one of the most important tennis events on the continent, as evidenced by the more than 35,000 attendees at this year’s edition, and Del Cabo Events was more than honored to be part of it all. We understand the weight of this tournament, not only for the Los Cabos region, but for the sport itself, and that is why we strive to make every event we are charged with a portrait of excellence and professionalism. And as always, there is no greater reward than a shining recommendation from the person at the top.
“The partnership with Del Cabo Events, from 2016 to the present, has been exceptional, and their professionalism and expertise has been indispensable. Having such a dedicated and proficient partner in Los Cabos is absolutely crucial for organizing a world-class event like ours.”
